The PicoBlade connector system uses a two-point contact design for a reliable electrical connection and a friction lock for a firm fit. Gold-plated models offer excellent reliability and durability.

Existing users of PicoBlade wire-to-board connectors want higher electrical conductivity than is supported by existing tinned models. Molex introduces PicoBlade gold-plated wire-to-board connectors with right-angled through-holes and SMT socket heads.

Customers need to achieve compactness without compromising the overall quality of standard wire-to-board/wire-to-wire connectors. Molex offers 1.25mm pitch connectors with a reliable two-point contact design and friction lock.

For SMT socket heads using industry standard nozzles, customers require high-volume vacuum take-and-place assembly. A vacuum cover on top of the socket head and a flat area for take-and-place assembly make it easy to automatically place the board.

Multiple procurement and engineering steps increase costs, take more time, and add complexity to the procurement process. PicoBlade connectors are available in tinned and gold-plated models with 2 to 17 circuits, band-pass holes, and SMT mounting, as well as in vertical and right Angle directions.
